Installations

How do Install SettsPlus on a new PC

First you need to find out what version of SettsPlus you need to install, so it matches what is on the server.

       Open SettsPlus -> Click on the "?" (Question mark) on the top right hand corner of SettsPlus, Note down the Build Number(Bottom left corner)

Go to the Downloads Page on our website and download the appropriate version Download Page

Once you have Downloaded the program, double click on it and install.

Some Office Word Setup might be required if its a new machine or new windows Profile

      Open Office Word -> File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Tick "Enable all macros"

A few more setting up steps remaining in SettsPlus

Open SettsPlus, click on the Administration Tab -> Setup(Under Lookup lists Category) -> Printer

      Specify for what type of document is associated to what printer

      Specify what Bin number each printer/Document type will be using

      Click on Margins to change the margins for that Printer/bin combination(Just need to do it once for each Printer/Bin Combo)

            Specify the values in cm, and paper size, Click OK and assign a name for those margin Setts(Might already be in the Database)

Note: Usual Printer Setting are

LetterHead Bin are associated with "Fax", "Front Page -Letter" and "Statement"

      The Margins should encompass the writeable area of your letterhead, such as 2cm, 2cm, 4cm, 2cm, A4 Paper size

Plain Bin are associated with "Reports", "DOLA Forms", "2nd Page - Letter" and "Draft"

      The Margins for plain should always be 1cm, 1cm, 1cm, 1cm, A4 Paper size
